More efficient multi=use suction tube for a roving drafting frame

A suction device in a spinning machine (1) drafting frame (2), particularly in ring spinning or ring twisting has a suction tube (8) which is shaped like a circular cylinder with a tapering end section facing the drafting frame and is connected to a common suction channel (10) for several spinning stations by means of an elastic gripping sleeve (9). The tapering end section (11) is shaped to run to a point and is so fixed to the suction channel that the pointed end section projects into the wedge between the last drafting frame roller (7) and the yarn (12) passing to be spun.
