Improved medical devices for use between a feeding tube set (20) and a catheter include a universal adaptor (30) having a configuration permitting use of same with Y-connectors of various sizes, a Y-connector (34) interlockable with the aforesaid adaptor (30), and an adaptor hood (32) usable with the adaptor either as a protective shroud therefor or as a supplemental adaptor therewith.
