PURPOSE:To always obtain an appropriate image without lowering using efficiency and without performing troublesome operations by adjusting an image after a prescribed length of time lapses without forming the image. CONSTITUTION:A set surface potential level (HV level) given to a photosensitive belt 41 by an electrifying charger 42 and a set exposure level (EXP level) by controlling lighting power supplied to flash lamps 21 and 22 from a lamp lighting circuit 212 and the set level of a toner weight ratio T/C are adjusted to control an image when power is applied. Hence, thereafter, an image is adjusted when a copying action is resumed after a prescribed length of time lapses after no copying action has been carried out. Consequently, an appropriate image can always be obtained without lowering the using efficiency and without performing troublesome operations even when the power application is left as it is for a long time. |
