PURPOSE:To keep on smooth running on the part of an elevator cage with oil temperature increased in a simple manner by controlling an electric motor in revolution by means of speed signals in response to a set running pattern at the time of the vertical operation of the cage, and thereby providing an operation control means which allows only the electric motor to be driven with an electromagnetic clutch interrupted when oil is low in temperature. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic clutch 14 is interposed onto a shaft connecting both an electric motor and hydraulic pump 12 with each other, which are immersed in oil within an oil tank 15, and the electric motor 13 is controlled in revolution by means of speed signals in response to a set running pattern at the time of the vertical operation of a cage. In the second place, the hydraulic pump 12 is driven at variable speeds by the electric motor 13 via the electromagnetic clutch 14 so that the cage is lifted. In addition, when oil is low in temperature, oil is increased in temperature by the utilization of heating of the electric motor 13 and loss in rotating energy through driving of only the electric motor 13 with the electromagnetic clutch 14 interrupted. |
