<p>PURPOSE: To ensure the detection and to prevent a danger by providing a rupture disk between a first zone storing pressurized fluid and a second zone receiving it, indicating the presence of fluid in the second zone visually due to the travel of a piston, and discharging the fluid. CONSTITUTION: This rupture disk failure indicating apparatus 10 clamps a rupture disk 22 by support members 12, 14 and connects it with a first zone and a second zone by conduits 16, 18. A pressurized fluid passage 28 is provided in the support member 14 to connect a rupture disk failure indicating apparatus 30. When there is an excessive pressure in the first zone and the rupture disk 22 is ruptured, a pressurized fluid enters the second zone flows in the passage 28, and elongates an indication pin 32 attached to a piston of the indicating apparatus 30 to indicate it visually. The pressurized fluid is discharged through a discharge port 34 connected with a pressure responding switch 36. In this way, it is possible to ensure the detection visually and prevent a danger.</p> |
