PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct variation of evoked potential by skin impedance to obtain accurate evoked potential measurement to improve accuracy of dipole position estimation, by correcting evoked brain wave potential based on measurement obtained by measuring skin impedance. SOLUTION: This estimation operation is started by measuring brain potential (S1) at a potential measurement point of a prescribed brain active position. Next, correction (S2) of measured potential is performed. After correcting the measured potential, a provisional dipole position is set and potential is calculated on 21 points (S3). Comparing the corrected measurement potential and the calculated potential, an error E is calculated (S4). Comparing the error E and a prescribed threshold value a, when the former is larger than the latter, the setting of provisional dipole is judged to be an error, and the setting of the dipole position is renewed (S6) and potential is calculated (S3). |
