<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the air bag device which surely protects an occupant at the time of side collision, and can also prevent the occupant from colliding second against the side wall of a car body. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an inflator 22 which is built in the pad member of a seat back part 12 for a vehicle, and blows expanded gas out when the vehicle collides at its side, and whit a seat skin member 15 which covers the pad member of the seat back part 12, and concurrently is swelled out by means of aforesaid expanded gas, and the seat skin member 15 is thereby expanded by means of expanded gas blown out of the inflator 22 at the time of side collision.</p> |
