<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lower snell for sweet fishes (Plecoglossus altivelis) which is good in hooking of wild sweet fishes and has excellent visibility, durability, and connection workability to automatic snell stoppers and anchor hooks by forming colored parts to one end part, etc., of a specific polyvinylidene fluoride monofilament. SOLUTION: This snell consists of the polyvinylidene fluoride monofilament having a diameter of 0.05 to 0.5mm and a length of 50 to 800mm and is formed with the colored parts 20 which are colored to an arbitrary color, have a length of 5 to 60mm and are below 50% of the overall length only at one end or both ends of this monofilament. The lower snell 10 for fishing the sweet fishes is obtd. by selectively immersing the ends of the monofilament into an aq. dispersion contg. disperse dyes and having surface tension of <=30dyne/cm, thereby forming the colored parts 20.</p> |
