PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive thermistor which has the resistance to chemical reduction that the deterioration of its properties is reduced even in a reductive atmosphere and has a sufficiently small specific resistance. SOLUTION: In this reduction-resistant positive thermistor, the main components has the chemical composition represented by the formula: (Ba1-x-y Pbx Cay )z TiO3 (0.02<=x<=0.15, 0.05<=y<=0.15, 0.92<=z<=1.00). In addition, to 100mol% of the main components, are added as subcomponents 0.05-0.15mol% of a manganese compound (MnX), 0.1-0.3mol% of an oxide of semiconducting agent, 2-5mol% of silicon dioxide and 0.05-1.0mol% of aluminum oxide (Al2 O3 ). The semiconducting agent is selected from one kind, two kinds or more kinds selected from oxides of trivalent rare earth elements or oxides of pentavalent transition elements. |
