PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a spacer to be used between a wall face and a range hood by a method wherein a notch, into which an upper part of a wall panel can be freely fitted, is provided at a lower part of a back surface of the range hood. SOLUTION: A notch 11 is provided at a lower part of a back surface of a range hood 1, and an upper end of a wall panel P is fitted into a slot opened downward between this notch 11 and a wall face W. That is, a gas range 2 is disposed along the wall face, and the wall panel P is mounted on and fixed to a back guard 21 of the range 2. Successively, the range hood 1 provided with the notch 11 in its back surface is suspended along the wall face and fixed thereto. By this method, only the temporary fastening of the range hood 1 may be done because the upper end of the wall panel P is fitted into the slot to support the range hood 1 and, accordingly, additional mounting and fixing means can be eliminated. Further, by a method wherein the upper end of the wall panel P is arranged to the height up to the substantially central portion of the notched slot, the wall panel with one standard height is applicable to the range hood without cutting the upper part of the wall panel even in the case where the mounting position of the range hood is vertically deviated, and cost can be reduced. |
