PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make diffused air volume from each air outlet uniform without raising operating noise. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is installed in a high place near a ceiling, and comprises a rectangular casing 1 having air outlets 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D at four sides, a substantially annular heat exchanger 2 disposed along the outlets 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D in the casing 1 and opposed at both open ends 2a, 2b to one corner 1A of the casing 1, and a blower disposed at a center of the exchanger 2. A piping space 13 is formed between both the ends 2a and 2b of the exchanger 2 in the casing 1. In this case, air guide passages 22 for guiding the air W passed through bent parts 2c of the exchanger 2 corresponding to the two corners 1B, 1C to the two outlets 4A, 4B sandwiching the space 13 are provided. Diffused air volumes from the outlets 4A, 4B, 4C are made uniform without increasing pressure loss in the conditioner. |
