<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an engine which can ensure stable control by preventing hunting of air/fuel ratio generated as in the past, needless to say, ensure reliability of a catalytic converter, by setting (including both experimentally obtained actual measurement set and arithmetically estimated estimation measurement set) a catalytic temperature (cata temp) based on an actual exhaust gas temperature, based on a deviation between this preset catalytic temperature and preset target catalytic temperature, and performing feedback control so as to converge the preset catalytic temperature to the target catalytic temperature. SOLUTION: A control device for an engine, provided with a detection means detecting an actual exhaust gas temperature TEX comprises a catalytic temperature setting means 39 preobtained actual measurement setting or estimation setting a catalytic temperature CT(0) based on the actual exhaust gas temperature TEX and a catalytic temperature feedback control means 38 performing feedback control so as to converge the preset catalytic temperature CT(0) to the target catalytic temperature TT based on a deviation between the preset catalytic temperature CT(0) and the preset target catalytic temperature TT.</p> |
