<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for a hollow inner surface of a metal- made hollow golf club head in which a weight body can be surely fixed, and in which a gap between the weight body and a sole plate can be surely filled to effectively prevent generation of abnormal sound. SOLUTION: Thermosetting resin material Q is charged into a hollow part 2 in a club head main body 1 and heated to be softened, while pressure inside the head hollow part 2 is reduced simultaneously, so the resin material is supplied to a gap between a sole plate 5 and a weight body installed on it, and irregularity parts at joint parts 10, and that metal chip or the like dropped to the back surface side 5a of the sole plate 5 is enclosed with the resin material, and it is further heated to harden the resin material as inner surface treatment in a club head, thereby the weight body can be surely fixed, with the gap between the weight body and the sole plate 5 surely filled to effectively prevent generation of abnormal sound.</p> |
