PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily and inexpensively form the surface of an implant contg. calcium phosphate particles having bone conductability by subjecting the surface of the core member of a titanium alloy to a sandblasting treatment with particles, such as sinteredhydroxyl apatite, etc. SOLUTION: The core member 1 of the dental implant is formed of the titanium or a titanium alloy and the surface of the bone implantation part 3 of the core member 1 is subjected to the sandblasting treatment 7 with the particles formed of the sintered hydroxy apatite or calcium triphosphate or a mixture composed thereof and is then subjected to washing and sterilizing. The points (gingiva penetrating part and pier part) exclusive of the bone implantation part 3 may be subjected to the sandblasting treatment 7. As a result, the implant having the surface contg. the bioactive particles is obtd. and the secure execution of the bond with the bone in a short period of time is made possible. In addition, the period for treatment is shortened and the oscillation of the implant is prevented.
|
