PURPOSE:To decrease deterioration of torque at high speed driving time by selecting inflow and outflow points of a current in each excitation step and controlling current-flowing phase windings so as to obtain one set of each two- phase series and three other phase windings in all the excitation conditions, in the case of five-phase excitation driving. CONSTITUTION:In the case of 5-phase excitation driving, current flowing phase windings are controlled so as to obtain one set of each 2-phase series and the other three phase windings in all the excitation conditions by selecting inflow and outflow points of a current in each excitation step. In the case of 4-phase/5- phase half step driving, a total of connection points, connected to positive and negative poles of a drive power supply, is controlled so as to obtain a value of alternately repeating 4 and 5 in each receiving an input pulse. In this way, the 5-phase excitation driving and 4-5 phase excitation half step driving with less torque down at high speed input pulse time can be performed while utilizing a merit of the pentagon driving method. |
