PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of simultaneously controlling cockroaches and various acarids in houses, by making the composition include a specific compound and a pyrethroid compound as active ingredients. SOLUTION: This insecticidal and acaricidal composition contains (A) 4- bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-ethoxymethyl-5-trifluoromethylpyrrole-3-car bonitrile and (B) a pyrethroid compound, preferably in (99:1) to (5:95) weight ratio. Furthermore, the composition B is preferably one or more kinds of compounds selected from phenothrin, cyphenothrin, permethrin, ethofenprox and silafluofen. |
