PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the identification code judging device in an immobi system, which can shorten judging process time for identification codes. SOLUTION: A CPU 5a reads out identification codes at the on-vehicle side, which are stored in a ROM 5b, in a reading order stored in a RAM 5c, the read-out identification codes are compared with identification codes IDk0 through IDk2 transmitted from keys 2, 3 and 4 so as to be judged whether or not the read-out identification codes coincide with the aforesaid transmitted codes. When it is judged by the CPU 5a that they coincide with those transmitted codes, an engine drive permission signal EA for enabling engine control is thereby generated by the CPU. For example, in the case of the key 3 most frequently used out of a plurality of the keys 2, 3 and 4, if only an identification code at the on-vehicle side for the identification code IDk1 of the key 3, is stored in the RAM 5c in advance so as to be compared first, judging process operations by the CPU 5a can be completed by one action, and a judging process can thereby be over for a short time. |
