PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assembling workability of an air bag module by composing an engaging means for engaging a first supporting plate for supporting an air bag with a cover body to be detached of an engaging hole part provided in the first supporting plate and an engaging catch part provided in the other. SOLUTION: An air bag module 1 includes an air bag cover 10 and supporting plates 14 and 15, and a notched part 23a and an engaging hole part 23b are provided in the left and right sides of the peripheral wall 23 of the air bag cover 10. The supporting plate 14 has erected walls 34, 34, 39 and 39 formed in the tip of the attaching piece parts 14B to 14E of a flat plate part 14A, engaging holes 31 in the ends of the left and right sides of the erected walls 34 and 34 and notched parts 32 formed in the side ends of the erected walls 39 and 39. The supporting plate 14 is fitted in the peripheral wall 23, an engaging catch part 31 is engaged with the engaging hole 23b, the notched part 32 is engaged with the projection 23c of the peripheral wall 23 and the supporting plate 14 is temporarily fixed in the air bag cover 10. |
