PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to decrease adhesin activity of the germ Helicobacter pylori by using an extract of a palatable drink plant. SOLUTION: The adhesin activity of the germ Helicobacter pylori is decreased by administrating a extract of a palatable drink plant (preferably Theobroma cacao beans or leaves of Camellia sinensis) to a growth circumstance of the germ Helicobacter pylori. The above described extract is prepared by extracting a raw material of palatable drink plant by means of immersion in water or an alcohol followed by separation from the extracted residual by means of filtration and centrifugal separation to obtain the extract solution. By this process, it is expectable that the adhesion of the germ Helicobacter pylori on gastric mucosal epidermal cells is inhibited and the stomach and intestines are prevented from the injury. |
