PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the transmission of a pulsation pressure to a master cylin der by providing a check valve for stopping the flow of brake liquid from the master cylinder side, a relief valve in its wheel cylinder side, a second reservoir communicated with both and a shut-off valve to be shut according to a pressure between both. SOLUTION: During traction control or yaw rate control, for example the brake liquid of a reservoir 19 is pressurized from a low pressure P1 condition to a high pressure P2 by an auxiliary pump 25 and a pressure pump 24 and supplied to a wheel cylinder 14. At this time, the brake pressure of a constant pressure or higher is passed through a relief valve 28 to become a low pressure P1 and then supplied through a check valve 29 to a master cylinder 12. Because of an outlet pulsation pressure by the auxiliary pump 25 and the pressure pump 24, the brake liquid after passing through the relief valve 28 brings about a pulsation pressure of a low pressure P1±α. But this pulsation pressure is absorbed by a second reservoir 31, and the brake liquid is returned through the check valve 29 to the master cylinder 12.
