PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a guide rail for supporting a door. SOLUTION: A roller 72 pivotally supported on a hanger hanging a door 70 rolls on a rail part formed on the upper part of the housing of a linear motor 10, thereby causing the door 70 to be supported against the linear motor 10; i.e., since the rail is formed in the linear motor 10, the need to prepare, independently of the linear motor 10, a guide rail for supporting the door 70 in such a way that the door 70 is capable or parallel movement is eliminated, whereby the linear motor type automatic door can be made lightweight and inexpensive. |
