PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wearing of a brake pad by increasing a target speed ratio according to vehicle acceleration when pressing of a brake pedal is detected or when an actual zero condition of accelerator opening is detected. SOLUTION: The output signals of a car speed sensor 1, an accelerator opening sensor 2 and a brake pedal switch 3 are supplied to a controller 4 to calculated a transmission gear ratio, and this transmission gear ratio is supplied to a transmission gear ratio control valve 5. A fluid is supplied from a fluid source 6 through a fluid pump 7 to the transmission gear ratio control valve 5, and the transmission gear ratio control valve 5 supplies a fluid control signal to an input side V pulley 8 based on a transmission gear ratio from the controller 4. The input side V pulley 8 is connected to an output side V pulley 10 by a V belt 9, and the output side V pulley 10 is connected to the output shaft of a vehicle. Further, a transmission gear ratio sensor 11 is provided, and the signal of the transmission gear ratio sensor 11 is supplied to the controller 4 to feedback a current transmission gear ratio. |
