PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a switch shock at the time of switching the forward and backward in a continuously variable transmission by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This device is the controller of a continuously variable transmission having primary pulley and secondary pulley whose pulley space is variable, respectively, and a driving belt extended between these pulleys. The controller has an accumulator 75 having an accumulator chamber 76 and a support chamber 78. Hydraulics from a control pressure oil path 57 is supplied to the brake cylinder 45 of a brake 43 for backward and the clutch cylinder 32 of a clutch 36 for forward by the operation of a manual valve 61. When the manual valve 61 is operated to the forward location, pilot pressure is supplied from this manual valve 61 to a pressure control valve 66 and pressure which is different with each other is supplied to a brake cylinder 45 and a clutch cylinder 32, respectively, by the operation of the pressure control valve 66. |
