<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate easily and inexpensively any chattering presently taking place in the valve element of a dual plate check valve having already been used in general configuration together with its possibility to be used as it is. SOLUTION: In contact with the upstream of a dual late check valve composed of two sheets of semicircular valve elements 3, 4 freely rotatably supported on a main body 1 by means of pin 2 and energized in the valve closing direction by means of a spring 5, a short tube flange 20 integrally provided with a straightening lattice 22 is placed in piping, so as to provide such constitution as preventing chattering of two sheets of the valve elements 3, 4. Even though in such a case as using a reducer 9 whose sectional area is rapidly increased along the flow, connected to the upstream, turning flow or intense turbulent flow may be straightened by means of the straightening lattice 22 so that futter of valve elements 3, 4 is reduced so as to prevent any chattering from taking place.</p> |
