<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise generated by a drain pump and the trnasmission of vibration to the circumference of a main body and eliminate uncomfortableness to be given to a user, by providing a controlling means for operating a blower for a predetermined period of time after the operation of the main body is stopped and for stopping the operation of the drain pump within a predetermined period of time. SOLUTION: In the case of the stopping (OFF) of operation of an air conditioner, which has been in an operational state (ON), the operation of a drain pump is stopped after a predetermined period of time (T1). In this case, the operation of a blower is not stopped simultaneously with the stopping (OFF) of the operation of the air conditioner and, thereafter, it is stopped after the lapse of a predetermined period of time (T2), provided that (T2) is also varied in the same way as (T1) according to the operating hours of the air conditioner, but the relation of both is (Tl)<(T2). By this method, hours of the single operation of the drain pump alone can be eliminated not only during the operation of the air conditioner, but also even after the stopping thereof, so that noise generated by the drain pump does not become auditorily offensive to the ear. Further, a primary factor which causes strength of a casing to be deteriorated by vibration generated by the single operation of the drain pump alone can be eliminated.</p> |
