<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the displacement direction of a striker similar to the advance direction of a door by a method wherein a striker is pivotally supported on a shaft arranged at a striker mechanism part, and a striker end part is coupled to an electric motor through a link. SOLUTION: A latch mechanism part 3 is mounted on a slide door 1 of an automobile and a striker mechanism part 4 is mounted to the side edge of the opening part of a car body 2. A shaft 6 extending in a direction along the side edge part of the opening part of a car body is provided at the striker mechanism 4 and a striker 7 is pivotally supported swingably on the shaft 6. The end part of the striker 7 located further inside the car body 2 than the shaft 6 is coupled to an electric motor 18 with a reduction gear 19 though a link 15. This constitution makes the displacement direction of the striker 7 similar to the advance direction of the slide door 1 through simple structure. Further, thereby the degree of freedom of arrangement in the car body 2 of the electric motor 18 and the reduction gear 19 and the like is increased.</p> |
