<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a 3-dimensional object by the direct use of CAD data with a simple apparatus by exposing a light-setting resin by means of an exposure mask comprising a display device for non light emitting type, hardening it and laminating the so obtained hardened material. CONSTITUTION:A resin tank is replete with a liquid light-setting resin 18, and a constellation of slice-shaped image data are stored in a data source 28. While using an exposure mask comprising a display device of non light emitting type, for example a liquid crystal mask, a substrate 24 is moved uppermost by means of a shifter 26 and a resin layer corresponding to the interval of slice-shaped data is formed on the substrate. Then, a regulator 30 regulates the liquid crystal mask 16 to turn on or off according to image data of the lowermost bottom of a targetted 3-dimensional object from the data source 28, and the light is made uniform by a diffuser panel 14 and is caused to permeated the resin 18 in the shape of an image so that the resin is hardened to catch a likeness of the image. Thereafter, the regulator causes the shifter 26 to descend the substrate by a fixed amount, and in substantially the same way as above a sectional shape of a second layer is exposed to light by the medium of the liquid crystal mask 16, hardened and laminated. The 3 dimensional object is shaped by repeating above procedure and laminating a number of thin sheet like slices 22.</p> |
