<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe gas passage connector for gas welding and gas fusing in which connecting means of a socket side joint and a plug side joint is assembled easily with a small number of components and the connection of the connecting means is not inadvertently released. SOLUTION: Connecting means of a socket side joint 1 built-in with valve means and a plug side joint 2 is composed of a double wall type detachable sleeve 14 having an outer peripheral wall 17 and an inner peripheral wall 18, connecting balls 15, and a connecting groove 16. The outer peripheral wall 17 is fitted to the outer peripheral surface of a first cylindrical body 4 of the socket side joint 1, and the inner peripheral wall 17 is fitted to the inner peripheral surface of the first cylindrical body 4. The connecting balls 15 are charged in a plurality of holes in the inner peripheral wall 17. The connecting groove 16 is formed at a plug part 12 of the plug side joint 2, and both joints 1, 2 are connected/separated by advance/retreat of the double wall type detachable sleeve 14. The connected state of both joints 1, 2 is locked by a locking means. A lock pin 30 serving as the locking means is provided at the plug side joint 2, and a lock groove 31 is provided at the double wall type detachable sleeve 14.</p> |
