The invention is a shock-absorbing device for a washing machine water tank to absorb oscillation delivered to the water tank during washing and drying. When severe oscillation delivered to a water tank (2) during washing and drying, or laundry weighing more than proper weight, oscillation or weight of the water tank presses flange part (20) of the 1st pipe body (14) moving downward along a hanging bar (13). At this time, friction of the 1st pipe body with hanging bar is maximized by elastic force of the 1st section part (21) absorbing the oscillation of the water tank and delivering it to a hanging bar housing (16); then it descends to compress an elastic member (17), it is compressed to a fixed side (18) making an inclination part (30) and small diameter part (28) compressed in sequence. Then the elastic member (17) of the small diameter part (28) corrects its twist and absorbs the oscillation.
