VEHICLE SERVICE FOLDING TRESTLE

摘要

FIELD: transport engineering; maintenance and repair of vehicles; working under car bottom. SUBSTANCE: folding trestle has ramp 1 with support members 2 resting on rods 3 hinge connected with ramp 1 and connected with posts 6 by hinge 5. Support platform 7 is located between posts 6 and is connected with posts by hinge joint 8, and with ramp 1, by catch 9 whose axis is arranged higher that axis of hinge joint 8 to provide tilting of support platform 7 towards posts 6 and prevent spontaneous rolling of automobile from trestle. Posts 6 are additionally interconnected by axle 11. Ramp 1 and support platform 7 are connected by detent 12. Wheel movement is limited by stop 13. Displacement of trestle when wheel runs onto trestle at large angle of ramp tilting is prevented by hinged flat 14. Two trestles are required for servicing the automobile. Trestles should be installed parallel to each other at width of gauge of automobile which runs onto trestles only by one axle, front or rear. For storage trestle is folded down into practically flat pack- parallelepiped. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 4 dwg øøø1
