FIELD: decorative art. SUBSTANCE: the method involves application of a film of metal onto a dielectric base and its electrochemical coloring. A porous dielectric spacer impregnated by electrolyte is placed on the metal film, and a MULTICOLORED picture is formed by touching of the cathode of the above spacer, varying its potential, time of contact, speed of cathode movement and configuration of the cathode contacting surface in accordance with the required picture. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
