FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for treating potable and industrial water by gravitational settling in settler. Horizontal settler has reservoir with inclined bottom having recess for sediment. Also provided are pipe unions for delivery of primary water and branching of purified water, system of draining and branching of sediment, air-distribution system, and sediment-collecting perforated system located on settler bottom after air-distribution system and connected with proportioning pump which delivers recirculated sediment for secondary utilization at coagulation of water.
