SUMMARY-DIFFERENCE FEED OF MONOPULSE ANTENNA

FIELD: antenna- waveguide SHF equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed summary-difference antenna feed incorporates small-size summary-difference excitation unit composed of four similar rectangular waveguides bordering on one another over entire length. Each of them has narrow and wide walls common for two adjacent waveguides with communication slits providing directed branching of half of power into adjacent channel and pyramidal horn with stepped partition protruding forward in front of aperture that divides horn in two parts in plane E. For reduction of radiation pattern in plane H length of horn in this plane is larger than in plane E. Phase ratios required for monopulse antenna feeds in four output channels are ensured with the aid of dielectric phase-shifting sections with stepped matching units on ends. Plate with increased dielectric permittivity is inserted into slit cut in center of dielectric insert in parallel to plane E to diminish longitudinal dimension of 180 deg section.
