The apparatus has at least one print station and at least one turning station (3) for turning and/or conveying the printed cards. The turning station has a rotor (36) with an axis of rotation running perpendicular to the card transport direction. At least one card transport device is fastened to the rotor. The apparatus also has a contact device (60) which is arranged on the rotor of the turning station and is used for loading the card integrated circuit. Preferably the card transport device is formed as a rotating transport device and is controlled such that the turned printed card is output without changing its direction of rotation from the turning station. |
