PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ideal layout and simple constitution of a detecting part for detecting insertion of a foreign matter at the time of ascent of door window glass in a hard-top automobile. SOLUTION: A weatherstrip is mounted on a door opening peripheral edge part 12 of an automobile through a retainer 17F. This weather-strip seals a cabin and the vehicle exterior when door window glass WG is closed. A detecting part 40F is supported to the retainer through a fitting base part 44 in proximity to the weatherstrip. When a foreign matter exists in a space to the door opening peripheral edge part 12 at the time of closing the door window glass WG, the detecting part 40F is crushed, and when first and second conductive parts 42, 43 come in contact, a signal is sent to an elevation control means to stop the action of the door window glass WG or move it reversely. |
