PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run for an automobile that can prevent rattling sound of glass even with fitting dispersion of raising/lowering glass, hardly causing the increase of raising/lowering load of the raising/lowering glass. SOLUTION: A glass run mounted on a channel sash 16 of an automobile door or the like is provided with a run body part 18 of channel cross section, and a pair of sliding lips 24, 26 protruded onto the channel bottom side from te tips of both side wall parts 20, 22 of the run body part 18. A rattling sound preventing lip 36 is provided inside the sliding lip 24 on the interior side. At the time of enclosing raising/lowering glass 30 into the run body part 18, the rattling sound preventing lip 36 is protruded in such a way that the base part side approaches the side wall part 20 on the interior side and that the tip side is curved almost parallel to or in the direction to be spaced from the side wall part 20 on the interior side. |
