<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transfer a locking mechanism to an S/L state by a method wherein during first operation of a locking operation member, an N/L signal is outputted, and at the operation time in the set number of times, an N/L signal and an S/L signal are outputted. SOLUTION: A burglar preventing device for a vehicle comprises a locking mechanism to lock and unlock an on-off body, such as the door and the trunk lid of a vehicle, in and from a closed position, and a locking operation member to generate a signal by means of which the locking mechanism is brought into a locked state. Further, an S/L mechanism is provided to be operated by effecting locking operation by a locking operation member the set number of times and restricting the locking mechanism to a locked state. In this device, during first locking operation of a locking operation member, an N/L signal by means of which the locking mechanism is brought into a normal lock (N/L) state is outputted. Further, during the set number of times-th locking operation, the N/L signal and an S/L signal by means of which the S/L mechanism is caused to effect restriction operation are outputted. By this constitution, transfer to an S/L state can be allowed after an actuator is surely brought into an N/L state.</p> |
