<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and burglar preventing performance by setting a remote controller to at least two kinds of conditions, on alert and on standby, and switching a condition for determining key unlocking according to a set mode. SOLUTION: Upon receiving a signal from a remote controller 20, an on- vehicle device 30 determines if the signal is a corresponding normal signal or not, and if it is a normal signal, the device 30 decodes the signal for its instruction. If the signal is a mode switching signal for indicating a mode switching instruction, a mode is switched (a standby mode is switched to an alert mode, and an alert mode is switched to a standby mode). If the signal is an unlocking signal for indicating unlocking of a trunk, a mode is detected and, if the mode is a standby condition, the trunk is unlocked, and if the mode is an alert condition, the trunk is unlocked only when an unlocking signal continues within a range of a specified time (over 30 seconds to below 20 seconds). Once unlocked, the trunk is half-opened. Thus, relocking is prevented until the trunk is closed again by a man.</p> |
