PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric high in commodity value, with both ends along the transverse direction reinforced so as to enable to be subjected to continuous processing uniformly. SOLUTION: Both ends along the transverse direction of a nonwoven web 1 are superposed, along the longitudinal direction, with tapes 2 each consisting of a spun lace nonwoven fabric cut so as to afford an appropriate selvedge width, and these tapes 2 are set on the nonwoven web 1 by water entangling to effect reinforcing the selvages 3. |
