Disclosed is an optical pick-up using a declined wave hologram device. The optical pick-up comprises a light source, an object lens, a light detector and a declined wave hologram device. The object lens focuses the light from the light source to a light disk. The light detector receives the reflected light from the light disk, and generates corresponding to the electrical signals. An incident surface and an exit surface are formed in the hologram device. The incident surface is vertical to the exit surface. The light from the light source inputs to the incident surface. The light from the incident surface passes the object lens through the exit surface. Also, The exit surface diffracts the reflected signal so that the reflected signal is passed through the light detector. Thereby, the optical pick-up can be manufactured as one chip according to the characteristic of declined wave hologram device.
