A lamp for automotive engine compartment is disclosed. The engine compartment lamp (3) comprises a housing (3a) fitted under the hood (1); a reflector (4) having the same curvature as the housing (3a) fitted in the housing (3a); a projection (4a) at the rear center of the reflector (4); a pin (5) securing the projection (4a) with the projection (3b) at the inner center of the reflector (4); a lamp (6) in the inner center of the reflector (4); a lens (7) in the opening of the reflector (4); a spring (8) in the receiver (3c) fitted in the housing (3a); and a rotatable steel ball (9) fitted at the end of the spring (8) and on the spherical seat (4b) in the side of the reflector (4).
