Fastening device for personal ornament utilizing magnetism is disclosed for secure locking and easy releasing. The device comprises two magnets (11,21) facing with each other on the upper body (1) and the lower body (2); and an inserting hole (12) and an inserting lug (22) beside the magnets. The magnets and inserting hole/lug are used together for fastening the upper and lower body. The more secure locking mechanism prevents accidental release of the fastener.
