A method of repeatedly playing a signal at a stereo headphone is disclosed. The repeat playing apparatus comprises a microcomputer(1), an optical coupler(PT) for providing a reel pulse, a play/stop switch(SW1), a repeat/play switch(SW2), a selection switch(N/R) for selecting a normal state or a reverse state, a head switch(H/D) for selecting a head speed, an audio part for being on or muting an audio signal, a motor controller for controlling a rotating direction of the motor, and a solenoid(SOL) for driving the motor.
