The watch strap(3) is fixed to a housing(2) containing a watch movement, which may be mechanical or electronic, an to a frame(4). The plane of the frame(4) on one hand is inclined with respect to the base(2a) of the housing(2) at an angle a , which has a value between 45 and 60 degrees and on the other hand is inclined with respect the median transversal plane P of the housing at an angle b having a value between 30 and 45 degrees. The orientation of the watch face is such that it can be easily read without the need to pivot the wrist.
