The present invention comprises compositions and methods that relate to diagnostic and therapeutic assays and reagents for detecting and treating disorders involving aberrant assembly of WT1 complexes. Moreover, drug discovery assays are provided for identifying agents which can modulate the binding of one or more of the subject WT1-binding proteins with WT1 or other transcriptional regulatory proteins. Such agents can be useful therapeutically to alter the growth and/or differentiation of a cell, but can also be used in vitro as cell-culture additives for controlling proliferation and/or differentiation of cultured cells and tissue. |
