发明名称 Determination of asphaltene content and device thereof
摘要 <p>Method for determining the concentration of asphaltene in heavy oil based on measurements of photo-absorption between wavelengths of 500 nm and 1000 nm. An aromatic hydrocarbon is added to the simple oil so as to effect mutual dissolution. Then a warm aliphatic hydrocarbon is added to precipitate asphaltene. The mixture is cooled or allowed to cool, preparing a sample solution containing asphaltene dispersed in the solvent. Abosrbances of visible light at two wavelengths lying between 500 nm and 1000 nm and differing from each other by at least 50 nm are measured. The concn. of the asphaltene is determined from these absorption measurements using known absorption data. The appts. for measuring the absorbence consists of a probe dipped in the sample or flow cell, a light source, interference filters and a photoelectron tube or photo cell. The concn. is automatically calculated by analysing the data.</p>
