The safety barrier is constituted by a frame with a leg (2) into which a foot (3) is fitted. The leg and the foot have facing bores passing through them through which an immobilising part is fitted. This immobilising part comprises a V shaped spring clamp (5) formed by two branches and having a projecting part (6) passing through the bores. This projecting part can be retracted beyond one of the bores to unlock the leg and foot.
