The invention concerns hydrogenation catalysts with a palladium, platinum or rhodium base comprising at least one other metal M, deposited on silicon or zirconium oxide supports. The invention also concerns the method for making these catalysts by successive impregnation of the support using palladium, platinum or rhodium and another metal M. The invention further concerns the use of these catalysts in hydrogenation reactions and particularly for preparing hydrogen peroxide.
