The present invention relates to a switched-mode power supply, mainly intended for emergency battery units, with the following characteristics: a main transformer for the galvanic insulation of the primary and secondary circuits and for the conversion of the primary and secondary circuit voltages, a second switched-mode transformer, a first indirect voltage closed loop allocated to the second transformer, a load circuit connected downstream from the second transformer, and a second indirect voltage closed loop allocated to the second transformer, that second loop being, at least intermittently, a priority closed loop relative to the first one, of which the adjustment time constant is higher than that of the second closed loop.
