The container (1) is formed as a tubular body (4), with an intake aperture at one end (6) to receive rubbish. The body has fastening elements (7) to fix it to a centre console or a seat frame (3). The tubular body consists of a straight cylindrical section (4') and a curved end section (4"). A hose-like refuse bag, which has one sealed end, is located inside the container. Excess length of the bag is folded to form a reserve at one side of the intake aperture, and is held on a preferably ring-shaped holder.
